Join a network of over 6,500 professionals working collectively to advance the benefits of quality parks and recreation programs in Ontario.

Our members come from a wide range of backgrounds including recreation, parks, fitness, sport, facilities, the environmental sector, aquatics, therapeutic recreation, camping, and arts and culture. Our strength lies in this diversity. We rely on our members to inform our policy submissions, training events, and advocacy positions. As a member, you will not only have access to exclusive resources and Ontario's only job posting service specifically for the sector, but you will also enjoy discounts on conferences and training events.

Membership Plans

Designed for professionals working in parks and recreation, health promotion, environment, facilities, and related disciplines, this plan gives you access to all the benefits and priviliges of a PRO membership for $257. Read more about the individual membership plan here.

This plan is designed for groups of 3 to 9. This plan gives those included all the benefits of a PRO membership for $243 per person. Read more about the group membership plan here.

This plan offers municipalities and community agencies the option to have an unlimited number of employees, elected officials, or directors included as members. All those included would receive the benefits of a PRO membership. This option also includes complimentary registration(s) to PRO's annual conferences, a value of between $750 and $950! Membership fees for this category are calculated based on the population or the number of people served. Read more about the municipal/community agency membership plan here.

This plan is designed for businesses and professionals that supply goods and/or services to the parks and recreation sector. As a corporate member of PRO, you will not only receive all the benefits offered through the individual PRO membership, but you will also be able to name two individuals as member representatives, list your company's name and website on the PRO website, and enjoy enhanced exhibitor benefits at our annual conferences. This plan is a streamlined membership for colleges and universities offering programs such as recreation and leisure services, sports administration or management, fitness and health promotion, recreation therapy, landscape architecture, horticultural science, and parks and environmental landscape management. The membership is designed to engage students and provide PRO benefits to faculty members. Under the college plan, all enrolled students and 2 full-time faculty members will receive a membership for $298 per year. PRO's university membership plan offers memberships to all enrolled students and 3 full-time faculty members for $463 per year. Read more about the college/university membership plan here.

A Job Mart membership is designed for organizations or individuals who only want to receive job postings electronically without any of the other benefits that come with a PRO membership. This plan is $96 per year. Read more about the job mart membership plan here.
